BARCELONA could be without five key players for the Copa del Rey final.. See List

Ousmane Dembele

The La Liga champions face Valencia in Seville on May 25 looking to end their stunning season on a high.

Barca are targeting their fifth consecutive Copa del Rey title.

But Ernesto Valverde may have to field a makeshift side against Valencia.

Luis Suarez is definitely out after undergoing minor knee surgery last week.

The striker will be sidelined for at least a few weeks but he’s hoping to be back in time to represent Uruguay at the Copa America next month.

Samuel Umtiti has also returned from a spell on the sidelines, as has keeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.

But Valverde has revealed the extent of his side’s injury woes.

"(Nelson) Semedo was taken to hospital during the game,” he said following Barcelona’s final-day draw with Eibar.

“But we are hopeful it is only a minor problem and he can return tomorrow.

"We think that Ter Stegen will be fit for the final, after the initial diagnosis was reassessed.

"With (Philippe) Coutinho, I do not know yet, but we allowed him an additional rest today.

"(Ousmane) Dembele and Arthur are more difficult to make a decision on right now, particularly as Arthur has been carrying an injury for months."

Coutinho and Dembele being out alongside Suarez leaves Barca dangerously short up front.

Valverde may have to field Malcom up top with Lionel Messi, while Arthur’s absence will leave options in midfield limited.

Arturo Vidal is expected to come back in alongside Ivan Rakitic and Sergio Busquets.

Barca’s clash with Valencia kicks off at 8pm.
